Threnesan Naidoo is the Senior Specialist in charge of the autopsy service at the Phoenix Medico-Legal Mortuary. He has a special interest in Medical Law & Bioethics and in Medical Education. He is currently investigating possibilities of developing recognised sub-specialities in Forensic Medicine.

 

C Hattingh

Christa Hattingh is a Specialist Forensic Pathologist in the Department of Forensic Medicine at IALCH who also has a Masters in Medical law. Her special interests include Paediatric Pathology and death investigation associated with Mass Disasters. She is involved as a principal investigator and co-author in a multinational research project into the medico-legal investigation of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS).

 

CJ Moodley

Clive Moodley is a Specialist Forensic Pathologist in the Department of Forensic Medicine at IALCH. He is currently studying towards an MBA degree as he has an interest in Healthcare Management. His research interests include Procedure-Related Deaths and Forensic Radiology. ResearchGate Profile

 

S Naidoo

Sagie Naidoo is the Clinical Manager (Medical) of the Clinical Forensic Services for the eThekwini District. His research interests involve the medico-legal aspects of drunken driving and sexual offences.

 

SR Bugwandeen
Qualifications:
MBChB(Wits)  PGDipForHlthCare(UKZN)  LLM (UKZN)

Shikaar Bugwandeen is a Clinical Forensic Medical Practitioner at the Thuthuzela Care Centre, Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Hospital. He has a keen interest in Medical Law and is currently researching the legislation that pertains to sexual offences.
